Vasiliki Maria Kastora.
Vasiliki Maria Kastora grew up in Kalamata. During her school years, she was a student at the Music School as well as the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata. Her Scandinavian background led her to study in Denmark. Initially, she studied Business Administration and Finance at BSS – Aarhus University. Her love for the art, combined with her previous education, determined her interest to specialize her studies further. She chose the SEM Arts and Culture Management Program at Copenhagen Business School (CBS), where she is currently attending courses.
Through her studies, she specializes in developing managerial skills that respect the balance between nurturing creativity and the requirements of running a successful business. Focusing on creative business processes in and outside the creative industries and navigating between the realms of business and art, her courses include: Arts & Culture Marketing, Festival & Event Management, Art & Culture Foundations, Cultural Entrepreneurship, Cultural Economics & Policy, Management of Cultural Projects and more.
Besides studying, she participates in voluntary activities. She has been involved in organizing a project on fashion sustainability at Aarhus Cultural Youth Centre (UngdomsKulturHuset). Recently, she was appointed as Event Manager at the Student CBS Art Club, which promotes the interest in contemporary art within and outside the university community through multiple events such as exhibition visits, art talks, interviews with Danish and international artists, and more.
