Yiannis Aeriniotis.
Yiannis Aeriniotis was born in Piraeus. He studied piano at the National Conservatory of Athens with Myrto Maurikou from where he graduated with distinction and a First Prize. Then he continued his studies in Moscow and Vienna. He has attended piano seminars of Duo Ganev and Lied interpretation masterclasses with Norman Shetler in Salzburg.
As an accompanist, he collaborated with the Athens Concert Hall giving recitals and playing for the “Maria Callas” scholarships as well as with the seminars of the Bach Academy Stuttgart with Helmut Rilling. At the National Opera House, he couched operas of Vivaldi, Handel, Ligetti.
He has given many concerts with Greek singers such as L. Adamaki, Ch. Giannakopoulou, J. Drivala, M. Katsouli, F. Voutsinos and others. He had played for the masterclasses of A. Christofellis, Ch. Giannakopoulou, Sarlota Péczel- Kodály and D. Tiliakos. He couched the classes of late F. Voutsinos and K. Paskalis.
He is a piano teacher at the Kodály Conservatory and a piano couch at the class of Christina Giannakopoulou in the Athenaeum and Kodály conservatories.
