Lennart Pieper.
Socialized in the merits of the German classical music landscape, Lennart Pieper (*1997) started learning the violin at the age of four, switched to cello at seven, and added piano at twelve. His musicality was recognized early on, and he received numerous competition and funding awards from the German Music Council (Deutscher Musikrat). Lennart studied cello with Julius Berger (Bachelor of Music) and Jakob Spahn (Master of Music). Masterclasses and lessons with Julian Steckel, Götz Teutsch or Gavriel Lipkind, among others, accompanied his studies. He played and toured with various orchestras, such as the Neue Philharmonie Hamburg, the Bavarian Chamber Philharmonic and the Idyllwild Symphony Orchestra (Los Angeles).
In addition to being a cellist, Lennart works as an audio engineer and, alongside other artists, also produces his own music under the pseudonym Titus Martinu. His current album, “Blurry Boundaries,” was supported by Initiative Musik gGmbH with project funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media. Lennart is currently pursuing his Audio Engineering Diploma at the SAE Institute in Munich. His perfect pitch, paired with over ten years of experience as a musician and producer, gives Lennart’s work a high degree of musicality and quality.
