Presentation of the donor and the major sponsor for the year 2019

Dear friends and associates of Kalamata’s music festival,

we are very pleased to announce that this year’s edition of the “International Kalamata Music Days” received a generous donation from the “Stavros Niarchos Foundation” and that the “George & Victoria Karelia Foundation” continues supporting our work with a new significant sponsorship.

We feel flattered that the “Stavros Niarchos Foundation” decided to give us considerable financial backing in the form of a donation and through this choice to place our young festival among the organizations that, according to the foundation’s statute, “aim to achieve a broad, lasting and positive impact for society at large, and exhibit strong leadership and sound management”.[1] Our aims is to fulfil those expectations to the utmost degree.

We would also like to express our deepest gratitude to the “George & Victoria Karelia Foundation”, which helped us financially with sponsorships from the very first moment, while understanding the deepest goals and the benefits of our vision for the city of Kalamata. The support of the foundation was and still is very important; we hope that our cooperation will continue in order to offer the best to the musical scene and education of the Messenian capital.
