This year’s piano masterclass with Alexia Mouza will be held from the 18th until the 25th July 2022 in the concert hall of the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata.
This masterclass gives the opportunity to young pianists to develop their musical and technical skills whilst also assisting them to reach their personal goals. Musicians preparing for exams, competitions or auditions are of course welcome. Through a small group of six (6) active participants, the Festival is cultivating an inspiring and friendly environment for the best possible development of each pianist. At the same time, the masterclass participants have the chance to appear frequently together on stage, invigorating as a result the international artistic exchange, inspiration and musical dialogue of the International Kalamata Music Days. The concerts will be held in Kalamata and its surrounding area.
The masterclass with Alexia Mouza is aimed at young pianists from all around the world and of all ages – from those aiming to study music to students and graduates of conservatories and music universities. The masterclasses will be open to the broader public. Students of the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata (including students other than pianists) are invited to attend and get inspired.
Already existing chamber music ensembles (for example duets, piano trios, quartets etc.), that are interested in participating in the masterclasses and would like to present their work to more than one tutor are also welcomed and can contact us for more information (for example a piano trio could have lessons with Pablo Hernán Benedí, Indira Rahmatulla and Alexia Mouza).
Lesson languages: English, Greek and Spanish.
The cost of active participation in the piano masterclass is 450 € per person (250 € for students of the Municipal Conservatory of Kalamata).
An active participation in the masterclass is only possible after application through the website and admission by the piano tutor.
Application deadline: 5th June 2022!
For more information see the Terms of Participation.
